Introduction

A monthly wrap-up/newsletter of everything I've been working on in recent times! You can always follow the Updates page for daily stuff as I work on it, but if you prefer monthly stuff, this is the better option! I'll look into trying to get an RSS feed for this going, but no promises.

September 2023

Wrote a lot, fell off a bit in the late middle of the month as I didn't feel too great. Feels like I did less overall than in August, which sucks. Tried to be more social and post replies in more threads on a few sites, got some compliments on my writing which I took screenshots of to cherish. Not sure yet if socializing is paying off and I want to continue talk to people more or not. Trying to be more confident and outgoing like I used to be.

My birthday month is coming up at least!

August 2023

I like to think of this month as the "start" of a writing renaissance. I don't even really fully know what sparked me to start writing like mad again... it feels really good, though. Like a mental block got lifted? Like I could just say "fuck it" and write really, genuinely for myself, and stop worrying about it being good. Writing solely for the joy of writing. It's really a simple thing to say but the paradigm shift feels massive!

A lot of the summer (and August by proxy) were too hot for me to do as much art as I would've liked. However, conversely, the winters will also be too cold. We have a space heater, but I'm paranoid about it overheating the wires near my desk that I use to charge my laptop and stuff. I'll have to ask Lun about it.
