Introduction

So, I actually do a lot of work to update art for all my (checks notes) 2,000+ characters and get their thousands-of-images-in-total galleries up onto my website, but most of that work is invisible because, well, it doesn't go on the Neocities site, and I don't announce when I get a gallery onsite despite the amount of work it takes. So here - a public list of all of my characters and the status of their information being moved to the website.

Just because someone is 100% across the board here doesn't mean their profile is done, though, those take even more time to writeup. This is just the "basics" so that their pages are workable and neat and orderly on the site - a unique favicon, a small tiny pixel headshot for use on "folder" pages, their galleries in the database with all art dated and creited, and a fresh piece of fullbody art as a reference (some of these guys are from 2015 they need some TLC).

A ♡ next to the name designates one of Lun's characters, so check-ins may slow down the process (in case someone needs a resdesign or something).

FAQs:

"Why is this taking you so long?"
A big part of the problem is having to rename art files. Art by me needs to have its filename changed from IMG_001 into something recognizable so I know what the image is at a glance and the thumbnail URLs are unique, while art by other people needs to be renamed with their username and the site I bought it off of. That's the major blocking part and one that I can't outsource, unfortunately, because I'm the only person on the planet that recognizes the characters in the art from a glance.

"Why does everyone need a favicon and tiny headshot?"
The tiny headshots are used to give a small display of the character on the website, before clicking into their profile/gallery, and is generally just a useful way to link to characters quickly since they're named simply and store together. These tiny headshots are very fast for me to do and simple, which is why I'm using them as the boilerplate (instead of the Toyhouse icons I used to make, which take a lot more effort and I'm way more behind on those than the tiny headshots).

The favicons are so you can tell what tab is what character without needing to hover for their name or click into it, so it's less important (a character can't be added to a worlds page without a headshot, but the favicon is meh) and they're a bit annoying to do in batches so I'm more likely to leave those for later.

"If the Mags are your mains, why are so few of them done?"
Their galleries are fucking massive and some of them span from 2017 to 2023. I archive my art by year and month so there's just so much to sift through, rename, and sort into their galleries. Kolo alone has something like 460 images in his gallery, and the Mag with the fewest art is Prizma at 38. But again, this is all scattered over the course of six+ years.

"What's your current priorities?
I want to finish some of these smaller tables, like WOC/COA/HANTEL/SELEIGHE. It won't take a metric oceanload of effort to get all their stuff arranged because there's simply not a lot of them, and it'll feel satisfying to be able to delete entire tables. I dread getting to some of the Frags and Flameverse characters, though, with galleries of unnamed art spread over years....
